Constance
is president and owner of Premier Financial Planning,
Inc. (PFPI), a Registered Investment Advisor with the
New Jersey Bureau of Securities (NJBOS). A CERTIFIED
FINANCIAL PLANNER™
professional and an M.B.A., she has over twenty-five years
experience as a financial planner and investment advisor
and has been extensively involved in local financial
planning organizations.
Beginning in 1987 with the International Association
of Financial Planning, she has held several positions
over the years, including President and Chairperson
of the local chapter, positions she also held in the
Central New Jersey Institute of Certified Financial
Planners. In 2000 she was chosen for a state-wide board
position to transition the local groups of these two
organizations into one Financial Planning Association
(FPA). She most recently served the National Association
for Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) as a reviewer
of plans for the membership committee and as a co-leader
in the Northern NJ study group.
Quoted in several newspapers, Constance has contributed
financial columns to The Times of Trenton,
prepared "Money Makeovers" for readers of
the Star Ledger, and has appeared on the Fox
on Money program. She has been selected four times
as one of the top 250 (300 in one issue) Financial Advisors
in the country by Worth Magazine.
Before establishing PFPI in 1994, Constance created
and implemented a financial planning entity for a 65,000
member credit union in NJ, educating its membership
through seminars, articles, and consultations. From
1989-1992, she provided financial planning for the Registered
Investment Advisor of Capital Planning Advisory Group.
Previously, Constance worked for thirteen years for
Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., a Princeton-based management consulting
business for Fortune 500 companies with an emphasis
on strategic planning, problem solving and decision
making. In her last years at Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., while
obtaining her M.B.A. from Monmouth University, Constance
was general manager for their Princeton Research Press
division.
